As a Cancer Rehab Physiotherapist I provide evidence-based physiotherapy and exercise therapy to care for people of all ages and at any stage of their cancer journey.

I have extensive experience with a background working in rest homes and public and private hospitals.

I have completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Sport & Exercise Science alongside further training in exercise modalities that include Pilates, Yoga and Qi Gong.

I have the skills and experience to work with clients with numerous medical or physical complaints.

Some financial aid can be applied for through the PINC and STEEL New Zealand Cancer Rehabilitation Foundation or contact your insurance provider to discuss your entitlements.

As a Lymphoedema Therapist I am able to assess and manage a client’s risk of lymphoedema during or following their cancer treatments. I am also able to promptly address lymphoedema if it presents.

I get and keep people moving during times of injury, illness and challenge through therapeutic movement.

In each session I work to ensure the exercises and cues are tailored to the level of each client for the ultimate care and safety of your practice.

Online:

I teach online recorded classes to complete at your own schedule - these can suit a range of people and yet still designed with my cancer clients in mind with three different levels - click here to find out more.

In person:

I teach numerous group Pilates classes every week at Peak Pilates & Physiotherapy in Botany & St Johns. There are also many classes specifically for cancer clients including some that have charitable funding so no charge to clients.
